 Ferraces Rodríguez, Arsenio, "Liber compositionum medicinalium Sangallense-Upsaliensis (= «das St. Galler antidotarium», Sigerist, pp. 78-99)", Galenos, 15 (2021), 33-58.
ResumThe 9th-century manuscript Uppsala, Universitetsbiblioteket, C 664, contains a collection of compound medical recipes or magistral formulae that several catalogs of manuscripts describe as a ‘group of recipes' or ‘recipe book'. The article provides a transcription of this text and associates it for the frst time with the so-called Antidotarium Sangallense, edited by Henry E. Sigerist from the manuscript Sankt Gallen, Stiftsbibliothek, 44. The new witness makes it possible to clearly defne the medical recipe book for a future critical edition. A series of simple recipes and another of compositiones oleorum contained in the previous edition should be excluded from it. Moreover, the recipe book as a whole has been transmitted in the manuscripts without a title. A less misleading title than the one given by Sigerist is now proposed for it.
