- Resum
- This paper presents the critical edition of a group of Hippocratic aphorisms translated into Latin and contained in the codex Paris, BNF, latin 11218 (8th-9th c.). Some of them belong to Section 8 and are identified for the first time. In an introductory section, the manuscript is described and an attempt is made to identify the criteria that determine the organization of its content. It is observed that the numerous medical texts found in this manuscript seem to result from two initially different projects, and that most of the texts in this manuscript have been modified, some of them being compilations of extracts from various sources. The edited text is compared with the Late Antique version of the Aphorisms, considered as originating in Ravenna. Some differences in the interpretation of the Greek text suggest that these are two different translations. Several historical, linguistic and textual aspects are the subject of the commentary that follows the edition of the aphorisms.
